Vacation!

We're leaving for the beach in a few hours. I'm so excited! We haven't been in four years. Piper has never seen the ocean, and she is so excited too! She's been asking me pretty much hourly for the past week if it was time to go to the beach yet. Last night, when we put her to bed, we told her that when she woke up it would be time to go. I can't believe she's still asleep.

We have a few rough dates coming up soon. The anniversary of our first loss is 8/9 and our second due date is 8/16. I'm hoping that being on vacation will help keep my mind off of it. I need some distractions. Right now I'm just trying really hard not to think about it. We'll see how long that lasts.

I'm just going to concentrate on how much fun this vacation is going to be. I know my sweet Piper will have a blast! Now let's just hope that Tropical Storm Emily doesn't ruin our fun!
