Overall, Sunday wasn't a bad day. I was sad, but I just tried to focus on Piper and how lucky I am to have her. (Which wasn't easy, because she had a very bad day behavior-wise.) We got up and went to church. I hid out in the toddler room with my friend, Jenny, during the baby dedication. (That didn't go so well the last time.) We had a great time of worship and heard an amazing word. After church, we went out to eat. It turned out that my restaurant choice wasn't a good one. After we finally got seated, it took over an hour to get our food, and my order was wrong. Happy Mother's Day to me! It happens, and we didn't make a big deal (lots of people around us were complaining,) at least the food was good. We spent the rest of the day relaxing around the house. I took a nap and bought a few new books with the nook gift card Tim and Piper gave me. My mom came over and we visited with her and my step-dad for a little while. Then, after we put Piper to bed, Tim and I snuggled up on the couch and watched the season finale of "Once Upon a Time."
My heart was a little heavy and there were a few tears, but overall it was a good day. I'm truly blessed.
