Update

I have been so horrible about posting lately. Things seem to be going well. Since I last posted, we've made it to the second trimester! Our miscarriage risk is pretty low now. I'm really starting to let myself get excited. I even went to Babies R Us last Saturday, which is a HUGE deal for me. I haven't set foot in that store since before we lost Peyton. Pre-term labor is a huge risk with twins, but I'm trying not to let myself get too worried about that just yet. My sickness is getting better. I'm still a little nauseated in the mornings, but I'm puking a lot less, which is nice. I'm still exhausted all.the.time. I'm thinking that probably won't go away. The babies are growing and have been so cute and wiggly at our last two ultrasounds. I've started to feel a few little taps and flutters. Nothing consistent yet, but so exciting! I can't wait to start feeling them more, although I am a little afraid of kicks and punches when they're a lot bigger.

The babies aren't the only ones growing. My tummy is increasingly expanding. I'm exclusively wearing maternity clothes now. I feel enormous already (at least for how far along I am.)

At our next appointment I'll be just shy of 17 weeks. We're hoping to get a sneak peek at the sexes, but if not we'll definitely know at the next appointment, which should be early May. So exciting!!
