We saw Dr. C that afternoon for an ultrasound. I was fully expecting bad news, but almost immediately we were able to see that both babies are still hanging in there.
We found out that I have a blood clot under one of the babies. It's a relief that he was able to find a reason for the bleeding, but it's still scary. It could mean nothing or it could be bad news. All we can do is wait.
I was told to expect more bleeding and had another episode of bleeding yesterday. We're just hoping and praying that it resolves itself and both babies continue to hang in there.
If we make it to September, they're both grounded as soon as they're born for scaring us so much!
I hope this gives you some hope -- When I was 8 weeks with Maddy, I had hemmohraging (however you spell that!) and we thought we were losing her. Turns out there was unexplained bleeding right next to her. They sent us home with a 50/50 chance she'd live ... and she pulled through.
